It's always a dilemma in the studio. I prefer the relationship between work and viewer to be one on one, encouraging a sense of communion and perhaps even empathy. In other words, with lots of space between the works themselves. But it’s also important to see enough of them to get a sense of the language, of them suggesting a typology.
